Misbah-ul-Haq's statement on Pakistan's tour of England: Losing a winning Test is painful

Misbah-ul-Haq, the head coach and chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team, says that he regrets not winning the Test series and the T20 series in the tour of England.

Pakistan suffered a one-nil defeat in the three-Test series against England, while the three-T20I series was tied at one-one.

But Misbah believes that the Pakistani team should have won the Test series by one-nil and the T20 series by two-nil.

Babar Azam: Advice and messages don't come from the dressing room

The Pakistani cricket team could not win the Test series against England, but the century in the last Test removed the pressure from the captain Azhar Ali, who was stuck on him due to not playing a big innings. Similarly, the victory of the Pakistani team in the last T20I freed the captain Babar Azam from the pressure that had been placed on him in case of defeat in the second T20I. Ever since these two cricketers became captains, they have been under discussion and criticism that both of them cannot take decisions on the field and have to look to the dressing room where their mentors in the form of Misbah-ul-Haq are sitting. This discussion and criticism also takes place in the form of questions asked in press conferences and also in the form of discussions on media and social media by former cricketers, commentators and general fans.
